Selecting the right moisturiser is about knowing safe, established, plant-based ingredients and avoiding harmful additives. Our PhycoDerm Nourish features several key ingredients known to benefit skin.

Shea Butter: Derived from the Shea Tree, this natural emollient reduces water loss and provides antioxidant benefits. Shea butter has been used for centuries and is one of the most sustainable and ancient sources of skin barrier ingredients.

Phyaluronic acid (SXRG84): Our exclusive, natural, seaweed extract shares similarities with our skin's hyaluronic acid, playing a vital role in skin cell growth, inflammation regulation, and collagen production. It also boasts exceptional hydration and antioxidant properties.

Chamomile: Recognised for its antioxidants, Chamomile is known to soothe redness and has anti-inflammatory properties. While its specific effects in skincare are still being studied, its rich phenolic compounds and organic acids are believed to be essential.

Rosemary Extracts: Rosemary oil offers astringent properties and can be beneficial for acne-prone skin due to its antimicrobial effects. Current research also suggests potential neurological support from Rosemary.

Our founder, Dr Pia Winberg, used Nourish on her skin grafts in recovery from a scalping injury with amazing results. Remember, wounded skin takes over 12 months for remodelling of the surface layers, so ongoing, long-term nourishing is important.
